CR0 and CR2: bigger plots, bigger projects
Croydon's family homes typically have 20–30% more usable footprint than an equivalent house in Zone 2 or 3 West London. That means the projects our clients commission here tend to be more ambitious: not a modest side-return, but a double-storey rear extension; not a single loft dormer, but a combined loft conversion and full rear extension delivered in one programme; not a piecemeal upgrade, but a whole-home renovation that brings insulation, wiring, heating and interior finish up to modern standards while adding significant floor area. Croydon Council's planning approach is generally more permissive than central boroughs, but Article 4 directions apply in some conservation areas — particularly around Croham Hurst, Waddon and parts of South Croydon — and we handle those planning submissions in-house.
